Candidates must have extensive sales engineering or solution architect experience in a SaaS environment or relevant industry experience such as analytics, data science, or data engineering. A proven track record of delivering technical wins and building strong customer relationships is essential. Outstanding presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences are required, along with an understanding of data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology. Hands-on experience with SQL and the ability to solve customer-specific business problems using Snowflake's solutions are also necessary.
The Senior Sales Engineer will present Snowflake’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers. They will work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation. The role involves creating and developing technical champions in accounts to drive deals and achieve technical wins. The engineer will stay updated on industry trends, maintain a deep understanding of competitive technologies, and collaborate with other sales engineers to enhance team performance. Additionally, they will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake’s products and represent the company at industry or customer events.
