Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, along with at least 5 years of experience with technology compliance across domains such as Access Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Ads Revenue, Information Security, and Cloud Environments. Strong knowledge of industry-specific regulations, compliance frameworks, and standards including SOC 1/2, GDPR, CCPA, and various cloud vendor partnership level requirements is required, along with experience with AWS and Azure.
The Senior Risk and Compliance Engineer will serve as a central point of coordination for the development team, ensuring SOC audit requirements are clearly defined and understood, establishing and maintaining compliance frameworks, security controls, and risk management processes for cloud-based infrastructure, and ensuring individual engineers and engineering managers spend less time on non-engineering processes. They will collaborate with internal teams to integrate compliance into infrastructure and software development, conduct internal audits and risk assessments, manage external audits, and own Engineering Readiness Management policy. Furthermore, they will drive technical compliance reviews for projects, maintain and track compliance tasks, streamline processes, align external audit controls, and act as a bridge between engineering, leadership, and auditors.
