Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 4 years of experience in software revenue accounting, with Big 4 public accounting experience being a plus. A strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition and financial statements is essential, along with proficiency in account reconciliation, problem-solving, and analytical thinking. Excellent communication skills, a detail-oriented and organized approach, the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, and advanced MS Excel skills are required, with NetSuite and Salesforce (SFDC) experience being preferred.

Responsibilities

The Senior Revenue Accountant will maintain customer records and manage sales orders in NetSuite, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and company revenue recognition policies. Responsibilities include reviewing sales arrangements and contract terms, assisting with revenue allocation for multi-element arrangements, generating customer invoices and credit memos, and resolving billing inquiries. The role also involves performing month-end close activities, supporting M&A integration efforts related to revenue, and assisting with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and year-end audits.
