Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, a CPA certification, and a background in a public accounting firm or publicly traded company with over 6 years of experience. Required qualifications include excellent interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment, high-level analytical and communication skills, working knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606, SOX, and the audit cycle of a large accelerated filer, extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, self-motivation, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

The Manager, Technical Revenue Accounting is responsible for managing contract reviews to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and company policies, achieving cross-functional alignment with stakeholders on revenue accounting impacts, and providing technical accounting guidance. This role involves supporting revenue accounting operations, driving process and system improvement initiatives, managing and leading the preparation, review, and approval of customer contracts, and serving as a subject matter expert on ASC 606. The manager will oversee month-end and quarter-end tasks, including preparing fair value allocation workbooks and technical memos, managing the team's daily activities, leading ad hoc projects, collaborating with the Project Accounting team, and serving as a point of contact for external auditors.
