Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Finance/Accounting related function, with a strong working knowledge of GAAP and operational month-end close processes, including some exposure to ASC 606. Advanced Excel skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail, and effective communication and collaboration skills are essential. The role requires the ability to prioritize work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and strong organizational, adaptability, and deadline-driven capabilities. A Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance and/or CPA certification, 5+ years in public accounting or experience at a fast-growing company, and experience with Oracle, Zuora, or Zuora Revenue are desired.
The Senior Revenue Accountant will analyze and document revenue accounting treatment for customer contracts in accordance with ASC 606, including variable consideration, usage-based pricing, and customer incentives. They will support the implementation of new customer contracts and modifications within revenue systems, contribute to the monthly revenue close by preparing journal entries and reconciliations, and support the maintenance of Stand-Alone Selling Prices (SSPs). This role will also assist with SOX compliance, prepare audit support, help update revenue accounting policies, and provide accounting support for new product offerings or pricing changes.
