Requirements

  • Reside within the California territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region
  • Valid driver's license
  • Expertise in Physician and Field education, AHP education, clinical evidence interpretation, and Medtronic employee education
  • Ability to implement and execute strategy and implementation plans for educational programs
  • Knowledge of electrophysiology (EP) products, procedures, and cardiac ablation therapies across the CAS portfolio
  • Understanding of competitive technology and therapies to articulate Medtronic's competitive advantage
  • Commitment to personal continued development in electrophysiology field and adult learning modalities

Responsibilities

  • Drive regional education and training activities for new and tenured sales representatives and clinical specialists
  • Train and educate internal teams and external customers on CAS procedures, therapies/products, processes, and solutions
  • Provide continued education and assessment of tenured field teams
  • Lead coordination of new-hire training with accountability to hiring manager (CSM or RM), including new hire sign-off
  • Deliver new product and procedural field training, ensuring technical and clinical evidence is articulated to customers
  • Execute engaging field sales and clinical specialist education programs targeted to US Sales organization objectives
  • Disseminate competitive information to regional teams and deliver competitive technical and clinical training in collaboration with sales leaders/marketing
  • Enhance relationships with stakeholders by delivering strategic and innovative education promoting Medtronic products and therapies
  • Collaborate to roll out new product training initiatives, including indications, troubleshooting/tips and tricks, safety updates ("Train the Trainer")
  • Translate complex technical messaging, dispel competitive claims, resolve complex technical issues, and maintain customer relationships through technical expertise
  • Understand, interpret, and communicate product/procedure updates and field corrective actions
  • Collaborate with clinical research organization on clinical studies and physician research
  • Partner with key leadership, sales field, and cross-functional personnel to identify opportunities and barriers to improving regional performance
  • Provide feedback to product development, internal training/education, and marketing to improve future offerings
  • Serve as the lead for regional customer and employee education/training in support of CAS procedure and product launches
