Requirements

5+ years of QA automation experience across web, backend, and mobile
Strong hands-on experience with Selenium and Appium
Experience with Cucumber or other BDD frameworks
Interest in or experience with modern frameworks like Playwright or Cypress
Strong grasp of API testing tools (RestAssured, Postman, or similar)
Familiarity with CI/CD systems like AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
Experience defining and tracking quality metrics - coverage, regression stability, performance
Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with engineering teams

Responsibilities

Own, define, and evolve the overall testing strategy across backend, frontend, and mobile
Set up the right testing layers - unit, integration, API, E2E, performance, security - and guide teams on when and how to use them
Design, build, and maintain test automation for APIs and full user journeys
Work with developers to improve code coverage and maintain high quality standards, using tools like SonarQube or equivalents
Build and maintain test plans, test cases, and documentation for flows, edge cases, and quality standards
Ensure CI/CD pipelines give fast, stable, and actionable feedback
Lead and coordinate regression testing across releases
Mentor engineers on testing techniques, automation patterns, and quality practices
