The Senior Project Manager will manage and provide direct oversight for a portfolio of projects for a specific client, ensuring overall project and portfolio performance. Responsibilities include identifying resources, budgeting projects, and prioritizing the client's portfolio in line with site-wide projects. The role involves acting as the primary operational interface between the business and the client, negotiating and making real-time decisions, and providing internal consulting on project management issues. Key duties also include identifying opportunities for process and efficiency improvement, serving as the chief liaison to major clients' operational personnel for large study programs, and coordinating the client portfolio. The Senior Project Manager will ensure project requirements are understood, agreed upon, and followed by overseeing internal departments and external clients, facilitating the flow of technical and clinical laboratory information, and consulting on project management using scientific input from laboratory management and technical staff. Preparation of project specification documents according to budgets and contracts, and maintaining an updated project master file with version controls are also core responsibilities.
