Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Natural Science, Environmental Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of environmental consulting experience or PCA experience
  • Phase 1 & 2 experience, Subsurface investigation experience, Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Physical ability to comfortably walk around active job sites in an efficient manner
  • Proficient using a Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat)
  • Ability to walk around active job sites, stopping, standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, sitting for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces after receiving proper training and certification
  • Ability to enter, access, and inspect underground stormwater structures

Responsibilities

  • Lead EC Division's Due Diligence practice
  • Complete business development work to find new business for Phase 1 ESAs, Phase 2 ESAs, PCAs (Property Condition Assessments), and subsurface investigation services
  • Coordinate and oversee Phase 1 & 2 ESA, Subsurface Investigations, and PCA field inspections and final reporting
  • Perform technical inspection work as needed
  • Interview and make recommendations on new hires and independent contractors as workload increases
  • Learn Salesforce sufficiently to prepare and submit proposals to clients
  • Follow up with potential clients to complete scope review and gain feedback on proposals to win business
  • Coordinate with other internal Division team members for Red Tape Due Diligence services
  • Provide extremely high level of service to clients to differentiate from industry competitors
  • Aggressively network with decision makers throughout development, banking, and AEC industries
