Position Overview
Clune Construction is seeking a passionate and driven Senior Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and completion of construction projects. Essential Functions
- Project Lifecycle Management: Full responsibility for all phases of construction, including budgeting, bidding, cost control, client relations, and closeout.
- Team Leadership: Organize and lead project teams, both internal and external, throughout the project lifecycle.
- Financial Goals: Achieve project financial goals and ensure accurate reporting.
- RFP Responses & Business Development:
- Actively participate in RFP responses, leading presentations and pitches.
- Lead business development efforts and client relationship management.
- Organize client events and maintain strong relationships with designers and clients.
- Actively seek new client relationships.
- Preconstruction:
- Lead preconstruction efforts, from schematic design budget reviews to final budget approval.
- Contract Management:
- Manage contract review processes with owners and subcontractors.
- Team Development:
- Provide guidance, direction, and leadership to the project team.
- Develop Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers through mentoring and leading by example.
- Contribute to company growth by participating in interviews and supporting the Intern Program.
- Develop training content and lead classes on industry best practices, technical skills, and human skills.
- Professional Conduct:
- Role model professional behavior for all team members.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This role may have supervisory responsibilities for a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, and/or an Intern.

- Financial Acumen: Strong estimating and budgeting skills. Ability to prepare and submit responses to requests for lump-sum bids.
