Requirements

Experience leading end-to-end delivery of complex AI and machine learning projects, including model development, AI platform implementations, intelligent automation, and generative AI integrations
Proficiency in hybrid project methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, MLOps) tailored to AI/ML needs
Ability to manage project scope, timeline, budget, quality, dependencies, and unique AI challenges (model performance, data requirements, ethical considerations)
Knowledge of AI project lifecycle from use case identification through model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring
Expertise in AI/ML platforms, including model training infrastructure, MLOps pipelines, feature stores, and model monitoring systems
Experience with AI applications such as generative AI, natural language processing, computer vision, predictive analytics, and intelligent process automation
Skills in coordinating cross-functional teams (data science, engineering, business) and managing vendor relationships with AI technology vendors, cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), and consulting partners
Understanding of responsible AI practices, including bias detection, explainability, data privacy, and governance
Strong stakeholder communication skills, including status reports, executive dashboards, risk assessments, and translating AI concepts into business value for technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to facilitate alignment through sprint reviews, model reviews, steering committees, and governance forums, using data visualization and storytelling
Experience coordinating distributed cross-functional teams (data scientists, ML engineers, data engineers, software developers, UX designers, business analysts) and managing daily standups and sprints
Business acumen to ensure projects align with business value, ROI, and ethical AI principles
Technical project leadership combining AI/ML knowledge with modern project management practices

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of complex AI/ML projects (25%), driving through all lifecycle phases using hybrid methodologies, managing scope/timeline/budget/quality, coordinating dependencies, and navigating AI challenges
Support implementation and optimization of AI/ML platforms and intelligent automation initiatives (20%), including MLOps pipelines, feature stores, model monitoring, generative AI, NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics, and process automation
Partner with data science, engineering, and business teams to deliver AI solutions driving measurable business outcomes and ROI; manage vendor relationships and ensure responsible AI practices
Serve as primary point of contact for AI project teams, business owners, and executives (20%); deliver communications like status reports, dashboards, and risk assessments
Translate complex AI concepts into business value language; facilitate stakeholder alignment via reviews, sessions, meetings, and forums; present updates, metrics, and recommendations using visualization and storytelling
Coordinate distributed cross-functional teams, manage daily standups, sprints, and resource allocation as a mentor and trusted advisor
Orchestrate projects from concept to production deployment, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery aligned with business value and ethical principles in the PMO
