Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in transportation or highway design, and be registered as a Professional Engineer in the State of Wisconsin. A minimum of 10 years of highway design and plan development or related transportation experience is required, along with at least 2 years of experience managing multi-disciplined projects and strong working knowledge of the project development process.
The Senior Project Manager will establish work plans and staffing for project phases, coordinate activities of engineers and technicians, prepare reports and specifications, and collaborate with the Vice President of Surface Transportation to track business opportunities and cross-sell services. They will conduct client and internal meetings, ensure project goals are met within time and budget constraints, prepare design calculations and plans, and supervise design and technical development. Additionally, the role involves mentoring less experienced professionals, traveling for client meetings, and contributing to the creation of business/market development plans.
