  • Minimum 4+ years in in-house brand communications, media relations, or PR agency, ideally within a global company
  • Deep understanding of sportswear, media landscape, and sports industry
  • Proven ability to craft and execute strategic communications plans with creativity and insight
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of communications strategies that drive Nike’s Sportswear narrative in North America
  • Collaborate with the media strategy team to deliver breakthrough storytelling connecting with key audiences critical to the success of the Sportswear business
  • Support Nike brand and product communication plan and execution for the NA Sportswear business
  • Amplify the company narrative through powerful, breakthrough stories, concepts, platforms, and media that engage target audiences
  • Own communication projects from start to finish, including ideation, planning, implementation, budgeting, coordination, recap, and teardown—incorporating learnings into future experiences
  • Work closely with internal and external team members with diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals
  • Drive clarity and accountability, ensuring sharp priorities and clear, aligned plans that deliver results against compelling organizational goals
  • Obsess over product storytelling and demonstrate passion for sport and sport culture
  • Help lead, redefine, cultivate, and develop expressions of sport and style that challenge convention and permeate culture in new and inventive ways
