PayNearMe is looking to add a dynamic Senior Product Marketing Manager to our team, reporting to the Senior Director of Product Marketing. Help us reimagine payments!


Job Description

As our Senior Product Marketing Manager, your mission will be to develop a deep understanding of our buyers and our market, and help us communicate our unique value. You’ll develop and maintain the positioning and messaging that differentiate our products in the market and resonate with our target audience. You will understand the buyer’s journey and will develop content to support and enable sales.

What you'll own and be responsible for:

  • Lead product marketing efforts for a new and fast-growing vertical, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define and shape the go-to-market approach.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to business leaders in defining value propositions, market positioning, and launch plans tailored to the needs of a new target market.
  • Bring a “build from scratch” mindset, crafting messaging, enablement, and content strategies for products that are early in their lifecycle or entering new markets.
  • Champion internal knowledge-sharing and feedback loops to help refine product strategy as the vertical evolves.
  • Understanding customer personas and how to position products to meet their specific needs.
  • Build & maintain user & buyer personas and persona-based messaging.
  • Produce high-impact, client-facing content including presentations, website content, blogs, and more.
  • Track, report, and message against the competition.
  • Lead and coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive product marketing strategy; track, measure, and report against objectives.
  • Drive product and feature launches based on market research, user feedback, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Lead the development and execution of product marketing plans and go-to-market strategies.
  • In-depth understanding of the payments industry, market trends, and evolving customer demands.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the company's payment software products and their competitive advantages.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing at a technology company, with a proven track record of enabling sales success.
  • Experience in a high-growth SaaS company and/or fintech company is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of crafting compelling messaging and positioning for emerging products/markets is desired.
  • Ability to define and drive project execution amidst multiple priorities and goals.
  • Hands-on ability to build a range of marketing and sales enablement assets, including pitch decks and product positioning.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills; creative problem solver.
  • Highly independent worker who loves being part of a team but doesn’t require excessive oversight.
