Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with over 5 years of experience in product management within high-technology settings. Expertise in APIs, particularly mobile networks, telco/network APIs, and associated services, is strongly preferred. A solid working knowledge of Vonage products and services, advanced proficiency in product design and development, and demonstrated experience executing a product vision are required. Candidates should also have solid inbound product management skills, the ability to manage and execute projects, and an understanding of the competitive and upcoming technology landscape. The ability to develop solutions for complex technical issues, work across the software development lifecycle, articulate investment requirements, lead client presentations, and gather client requirements is essential.
The Senior Product Manager for Network Insights will be responsible for launching new network APIs from ideation to implementation, including defining customer-facing API requirements and integrating partner capabilities. This role involves conducting market research, understanding customer needs across various regions (APAC, EMEA, LTAM, NA), and devising solutions to meet those needs. Responsibilities include working with prospective customers and sales teams on opportunity analysis and proposal development, understanding local competition, and collaborating with Communications Service Providers (CSPs) to integrate new capabilities. The role also entails analyzing potential solutions, negotiating feature content with cross-functional teams, collecting and driving requirements for developer tools, and spearheading product development and lifecycle management initiatives. Additionally, the Senior Product Manager will develop product collateral, provide documentation and tutorials for a great developer experience, collaborate on go-to-market strategies, define partnering strategies, and determine product packaging, pricing, and positioning.
