Position Overview

Confluent is revolutionizing data streaming with a platform that puts information in motion, enabling companies to react faster, build smarter, and deliver dynamic experiences. We are seeking a Product Manager for our Platform team to build and evolve our cloud management experience. This role is crucial for enhancing the unified management of our real-time data streaming products and for driving adoption within regulated industries by addressing their Disaster Recovery requirements.

About the Role

As a Product Manager on the Platform team, you will own and drive the vision, strategy, and execution for the cross-region Disaster Recovery roadmap. You will focus on solving high-impact customer problems, particularly those relevant to regulated industries and their resource protection needs. You will be comfortable leading cross-functional teams to achieve alignment and drive progress.

Responsibilities

• Own the cloud management roadmap and strategy.
• Collect and analyze cloud management customer requirements.
• Develop product specifications for cloud management features.
• Align design, product, and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with marketing and the field to launch cloud management features.

Requirements

• 5+ years of cloud experience in an IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS stack.
• Experience building and supporting enterprise-grade products as a Product Manager.
• Proven ability to build, write, and defend a clear product roadmap and backlog backed by user stories and customer research.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in a collaborative, consensus-driven environment.
• Ability to build relationships with co-workers and customers globally.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business outcomes through product changes.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major Cloud Provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Multi-cloud or hybrid experience is a plus.
