Senior Product Manager

Position Overview

Williams Lea and TSO are seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive digital transformation for a major public sector client. This role is pivotal in designing and delivering impactful products and programs that support the client's role in publishing authoritative public information in the UK. You will shape the future of essential public records accessible through modern digital services, contributing to a complex, multi-year contract with five core objectives and seven strategic workstreams. Working closely with the Senior Account Director, you will translate strategic goals into actionable product roadmaps, lead cross-functional delivery, and ensure alignment with client needs and wider public sector priorities. This is a hands-on position requiring strong leadership, excellent organization, and the ability to manage multiple timelines and stakeholders with confidence and empathy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Programme and Project Planning

• Lead a program to deliver the transformation of digital services, achieving agreed strategic goals for both internal and client objectives.
• Translate strategic objectives into product roadmaps and defined workstreams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the early stages of idea development to ensure new proposals align with the strategic roadmap and are realistically deliverable within constraints (time, budget, technical capability).

2. Governance, Timelines & Risk Management

• Own and maintain the master delivery roadmap and integrated project timelines.
• Track and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly on performance metrics, progress against milestones, and contract compliance.
• Maintain risk and issue logs, lead remediation planning, and embed RAG status reviews and structured delivery cycles.

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-functional Coordination

• Act as the senior liaison between internal teams, ensuring clarity and consistency across all communications, under the leadership of the Group Account Director.
• Coordinate with product, technology, operations, sales, content, and marketing teams to align around shared goals.
• Lead key meetings such as project kick-offs, strategic reviews, and milestone assessments.

4. Delivery Excellence

• Take a hands-on approach to shaping briefs and proposals.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Manage risks and champion delivery excellence across technology, design, content, and operations.
