Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, User Researchers, and Content Designers to bring concepts and product evolution
  • Work daily with developers to validate technical feasibility of proposals and ensure fulfillment of designs
  • Connect with other Back Market functions (Marketing, Brand, Business etc.) to articulate customer and business needs
  • Autonomously own the design vision for the Japan Market, creating new user journeys considering specific needs of Japanese citizens
  • Manage relationships with product squads, business stakeholders, and other designers to deliver impactful results
  • Mentor and coach other designers
  • Be an equal partner with product managers, content designers, and engineers to build, maintain, and evolve Back Market
  • Contribute to discovery, roadmapping, advocate for the right approach, and deliver best-in-class customer experience
  • Collaborate with user researchers or conduct your own user research to clarify ambiguous problems with customer insights, consulting quantitative and qualitative data
  • Advocate for and facilitate design methods and tools to deliver solutions that work for customers and business
  • Ensure clarity and comprehension in proposed ideas and solutions from conception to delivery through documentation and tidy working practices
  • Proactively advocate impact and autonomously communicate progress, learnings, and goals to the company and beyond
