Requirements

Experience designing intuitive tools for technical or developer audiences
Background in building or contributing to design systems
Strong track record of working cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to ship polished, functional designs
Ability to prototype and test designs with real users
Comfortable taking initiative and owning projects end-to-end in a fast-paced environment
Ability to contribute directly to frontend codebase to polish UI and interactions. Familiarity with frontend technologies (React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Responsibilities

Drive the end-to-end product design process: from prototyping and internal reviews to usability testing, detailed specs, and final implementation
Work across our product suite including model deployment, data and query interfaces, backend logic composition, and our drag-and-drop builder
Design for technical users, balancing abstraction with control and flexibility
Create and maintain a design system that promotes consistency and usability
Collaborate directly with customers to gather feedback and validate design decisions
Help evolve and implement Baseten’s visual identity across product and web presence
Partner closely with engineers to ship high-quality, user-friendly features
Contribute to team-wide product thinking and execution strategy
