Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business/Finance, or a related subject area
  • Some years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Project Manager or in a similar client-facing role
  • Knowledge of CCP and/or CSD operations and the full transaction lifecycle
  • Driven, curious, and value continuous learning
  • Takes initiative and ownership, while also collaborating with others
  • Confident in handling multiple clients and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills with the ability to communicate business activities and flows
  • Strong English language skills (additional languages are a plus)
  • Experience working with agile methodologies is preferable
  • Ability to travel sometimes to customer sites in different parts of the world may be required

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the definition, development, and delivery of Nasdaq products by balancing client desirability, financial viability, and technical feasibility throughout the product lifecycle
  • Improve the value of the product for clients
  • Translate the product strategy into a roadmap, metrics, and desired functionality expressed as requirements in the product backlog
  • Communicate the voice of the customer to the team and handle customer expectations by turning their pains and problems into actionable items in the backlog
  • Provide guidance on product functionality to development teams
  • Understand, define, and communicate the prioritization of product requirements with a mind toward business value, flow, and tradeoffs
  • Act as a Servant Leader: actively review business risks, issues, & impediments expressed by the delivery team
  • Attend agile ceremonies to ensure that development work is aligned with the roadmap
  • Build quality into acceptance criteria and accept all work increments produced by the development team
  • Supervise progress on release and completion
  • Integrate with other business product lines and technology to align product strategy with overall needs advised by business line and technology executives
  • Manage risks of judgment with a serious impact on the success of the product
