Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Procurement and Acquisitions Management or equivalent education; several years of relevant work experience may substitute in absence of degree
5+ years of experience as an expeditor, project procurement coordinator, procurement specialist, or buyer; manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to travel 10-25%
Designated safety-sensitive position requiring participation in drug and alcohol program
Requires driving; valid driver's license and good driving record

Responsibilities

Track numerous mission-critical orders and ensure delivery dates are met; report data slippages, risks, or issues related to delivery and receipt of orders (partial or whole) to all team members
Manage suppliers and collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop solutions for quality and service issues or potential late deliveries
Coordinate activities with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely supplier performance
Manage and process Purchase Orders while updating sourcing management on order status
Track and ensure contract and supplier compliance with terms and conditions, insurance, etc
Locate, qualify, or promote possible new sources of supply when requested
Resolve invoice discrepancies
Assist with inventory and asset management
Mentor, support, or act as a back-up for other team members as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
