Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, procurement, or comparable professional education
  • Proven knowledge of Procurement methodology and sourcing execution
  • Basic contracting knowledge
  • Advanced English and German language skills (at least B2+)
  • Strong analytical, presentation, communication (written & oral), interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Strong relationship management skills and a proactive customer-focused approach
  • Forward and solution minded, team player and with a high degree of self-management
  • Ability to work as a team player within a high functioning team that can work on multiple acquisitions/countries simultaneously
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, adopt a flexible approach, and prioritize tasks appropriately in an ever-changing environment
  • Comfortable navigating in a multicultural and broad environment and with all levels of the organization
  • Bonus: Advanced knowledge of French language (B2+)

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and coordinate disposition activities for acquisitions
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders on new and existing acquisitions
  • Understand the requirements of the business and work with key contacts from the acquired company providing guidance on policy and compliance
  • Engage with suppliers effectively and professionally; able to negotiate basic contractual terms
  • Proactively evaluate information to identify the needs for compliance for acquisitions supplier base and determine the next steps
  • Identify and investigate issues, bringing them to an acceptable resolution for both the business/Sourcing & Contract Management (S&CM) and supplier
  • Support the S&CM team to set up / terminate contracts with suppliers
  • Support the acquisition of the Procurement Plus process (BuyNow, Accounts Payables) and policies
  • Provide regular updates and be able to summarize information to determine key points/dependencies
