  • Deep knowledge of evergreen private markets vehicles such as interval funds, tender offer funds, and BDCs required

Responsibilities

  • Manages various projects related to fund initiatives to strengthen Vanguard's Private Market Investment product offer
  • Conducts deep analysis of strategic, competitive, client and market issues related to Vanguard's product line-up
  • Gathers qualitative and quantitative data from internal and external sources to make data-based recommendations about new products, changes to existing products, or input into strategic projects
  • Partners with senior leaders, key stakeholders, and subject matter experts to evaluate existing and new products. Recommends additions and changes to Vanguard's Private Investment product line-up
  • Offers guidance and advice related to Vanguard's investment philosophy, product development process, and internal governance framework
  • Analyzes data of high complexity using investment and business knowledge to derive Private Investment product development and product insights. Verifies the quality, accuracy, and reasonableness of the data
  • Engages directly with clients and prospects to gain additional insights and perspective
  • Responds to fund and market questions. Creates presentations summarizing analyses, findings, and recommendations for new and existing Private Investment products for discussion at internal forums
  • Conducts product based competitor research, analysis and monitoring to better understand our competitors' product offerings to drive positioning of Vanguard's products
  • Develops and maintains broad and deep knowledge of the asset management industry, market and product, and competitive dynamics. Leverages knowledge to derive and communicate product-related insights at internal forums
  • Provides thought leadership through identifying strategic topics and presents compelling ideas for research evaluation
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
