Requirements

Member of APAC Quality team and extended Global Quality team
Experience implementing unified quality management in APAC Manufacturing
Ability to monitor and reduce manufacturing variation
Expertise in preventing defects and ensuring effective detection methods
Skills in driving improvements in manufacturing methods, processes at CMs, and product design
Capability to represent voice of the customer through cross-collaboration with APAC Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Business functions
Knowledge of Quality Control (inspection/testing regimes, nonconformance correction)
Knowledge of Quality Assurance (processes/procedures to prevent nonconformances)
Knowledge of Quality Improvement (analysis and systematic methods/tools for performance enhancement)

Responsibilities

Work with CMs and Suppliers to develop capable manufacturing processes meeting product requirements prior to MP and during production
Develop effective quality and process control methods/plans (IQC, IPQC, FQC, OBA, ORT, etc.) and monitor them
Drive robust production testing processes to prevent nonconformity escapement
Drive robust assembly operations and manufacturing processes via manufacturability assessment to error-proof products and prevent operator errors
Implement rigorous process controls where defect elimination is not practical to monitor and reduce variation
Partner with Engineering for DFM and robust designs with defined specifications and tolerances
Cooperate with manufacturing partners on GR&R or MSA to verify MITE precision in production
Ensure alignment and creation of cosmetic samples/standards
Participate in phase gate and design reviews to assess production readiness (quality, reliability, manufacturability)
Manage closed-loop problem resolution (material containment, screening, root cause analysis, corrective actions)
Participate in selection and qualification of key suppliers and contract manufacturers
Provide data analytics and reporting of key quality metrics for continuous improvements
Perform periodical verification on all aspects of production processes
