Responsibilities

  • Rapidly visualizing, prototyping, and exploring multiple product design directions in response to hypotheses, considering business and technical impacts
  • Owning large end-to-end initiatives spanning multiple teams and outcomes at the forefront of new product areas or disciplines
  • Defining entire categories of experiences, proposing solutions that drive business objectives, and identifying new opportunities using design methods
  • Elevating the role of digital design at Nike and facilitating dialog/awareness between the organization and the external design community
  • Inspiring and mentoring other designers, raising the bar through personal and team work
  • Driving industry-wide thought leadership for highly-visible projects, policies, or high-impact initiatives
  • Ensuring cross-functional support for executions by prioritizing product goals and influencing strategic market/industry approaches
  • Guiding multiple teams to solve previously insurmountable problems
  • Influencing team culture to be more inclusive, welcoming, and candid, leading Nike Digital Design org, cross-pillar, and company-wide initiatives
