Responsibilities
The Senior Platform Engineer will be the lead developer for Slingshot’s Data Platform, used for training and aligning conversational models and agents for the psychology domain, working with a team of ML engineers to implement features and develop the product experience in collaboration with conversational designers, writers, and psychotherapists. They will primarily work with NextJS (Typescript, Vercel, Supabase), interact with the Kotlin backend, Flutter mobile app, and python machine learning services, and work with custom in-house language models, voice models (text-to-speech and speech-to-text), and large language models, acting as a product manager and designer while shipping fast and iterating at a lightning pace.
