  • Excellent payroll knowledge (e.g. statutory, legislative) on multiple countries (+3 years)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all Payroll processing and allocated projects for specific locations
  • Ensure payroll compliance, efficiencies & timeliness for your countries, with scope increasing in complexity and impact
  • Ensure correct accounting via payroll journals, maintaining accuracy of transactions to ensure high quality outputs
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g. Employees, HR teams) and external (e.g. payroll provider ADP), providing excellent customer service, payroll knowledge and meeting all required SLAs
  • Maintain relationships with third party payroll and advisors, developing process improvements for efficient and effective payroll execution
  • Act as the first point of contact for Payroll enquiries and cases for responsible locations, performing deep dive analysis and in-depth reviews
  • Solve complex problems; take a new perspective using existing solutions and exercise judgment within defined procedures
  • Deliver monthly and annual payroll returns and maintain their accuracy for all employees within remit
  • Lead on projects impacting payroll and act as key contact for payroll representation outside the team
  • Provide support on KPI deliverables of payroll and the team
  • Create, amend and run recurring or adhoc reports, checking data and formatting appropriately
  • Identify problems and opportunities, champion solutions within payroll and to wider teams/stakeholders, support team projects, maintain policies and procedures, and upskill others
  • Keep up to date on regulation changes for specific supported locations to ensure accuracy and service
  • Own and maintain compliance on reports and data with all local regulations regarding payroll and benefits
  • Continue to increase Subject Matter Expertise on allocated locations, providing expertise support to others
  • Work with the Payroll team and Global Payroll Operations Manager to provide additional processing/transaction support and lead/support development of junior peers
  • Create and submit monthly pensions submissions to relevant providers in line with agreed SLAs
  • Work to a global standardised way across the team for cross country back up & peer checks, highlighting issues and identifying trends
