Requirements

  • 7+ years in solutions architecture, technical partnerships, sales engineering, or solution consulting, ideally within platform, marketplace, or SaaS environments

Responsibilities

  • Act as the embedded technical expert within the Business Development team, providing solution design and integration expertise to accelerate and close strategic partnerships
  • Support partner evaluation and deal structuring by assessing technical feasibility, integration requirements, and alignment with Thumbtack’s platform capabilities
  • Lead technical discovery with partner teams to surface integration opportunities, identify blockers early, and propose scalable solutions that create mutual value
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure partner needs are understood, prioritized, and implemented in a way that advances Thumbtack’s strategic roadmap
  • Develop and maintain solution playbooks, technical best practices, and integration frameworks to streamline future partner engagements
  • Partner with BD and Partner Success teams to ensure integrations are healthy post-launch, driving adoption, customer impact, and long-term growth
  • Build trusted relationships with senior technical and business leaders at partner organizations, positioning Thumbtack as a strategic and reliable partner
