Requirements

  • Strong background in networking and structured approach to project execution
  • Ability to break down network projects into clear steps and follow through
  • Experience with data center switches (Cisco Nexus 3K/5K/9K)
  • Strong knowledge of OSPF, BGP, and IP networking
  • Familiarity with L2/L3 network protocols (VLAN, VRRP, LACP, MC-LAG, EVPN with VXLAN, DHCP, DNS)
  • Experience with NGFW firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortigate, Checkpoint)
  • Experience deploying and configuring network equipment in production environments
  • Good documentation skills and ability to follow structured processes
  • Fluency in Lithuanian and English (spoken and written)

Responsibilities

  • Designing, implementing, and configuring network infrastructure based on project requirements
  • Implementing and executing network projects in Telia Lietuva managed data centers, customer environments, and public cloud
  • Breaking down complex projects into structured steps, following best practices, and ensuring successful delivery
  • Managing expectations and communicating clearly with stakeholders
  • Identifying and troubleshooting challenges during project execution to ensure timely resolution
  • Keeping documentation up-to-date and aligned with delivery standards
  • Collaborating with project managers, architects, and engineers to achieve smooth deployments
