Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in network administration. Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security principles is essential, and experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment is preferred.
The Senior Network Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and administering computer networks, including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations. This includes troubleshooting network problems and outages, monitoring system components, and recommending network system security improvements. Additionally, the role involves replacing faulty network hardware, protecting data and software through security measures, performing VLAN and IP address audits, and coordinating network upgrades and redundancy tests.
