Responsibilities

  • Identify and maintain best practices that determine staffing availability for all submitted installation work orders throughout the country
  • Daily coordination of projects regarding resource allocation, project planning, and budgets
  • Analyze project prioritizations with the ability to make swaps for staffing based on revenue recognition date, customer go-live date, or an inspection date
  • Create and use forecasting tools that show projected business performance to determine the need for any potential headcount adds in a region
  • Prepare, submit, and explain periodic reports on installation capacity to leadership that determine the national number of projects that can be properly staffed per week
  • Routinely make decisions which may affect immediate operation and have a business unit wide impact
  • Innovative and creative in finding solutions / designing improved standard work and system processes for installation capacity visibility
  • Analyze installation work order scopes determining the required skill set to complete the install
  • Coordinate and communicate with installation managers all staffing challenges or concerns
  • Participate in coordinating project pushes or pull ins with installation managers and project managers to determine the most feasible next available date based on national capacity
  • Proactively request all required information from project managers to determine staffing needs
  • Analyze trained technician skill sets on a national level, to determine the number of work orders that can be supported
  • Responsible for forecasting and setting national staffing lead time based on the current amount of work orders submitted while considering tech availability per week
  • Attend national and regional scheduling calls to maintain visibility for staffing needs within lead time
  • Has the independence and authority to perform required tasks to ensure all provisions of staffing are planned and scheduled appropriately
  • Analyze data in Power BI and Salesforce to effectively communicate data driven insights to stakeholders
  • Develop and implement staffing plans to maximize the use of the resources and meet an established reduction in return trips while increasing project profitability
  • Partner with operations and supply planning teams to understand current project demand (labor resources and capital equipment), as well as forecast future growth and capabilities needed
