Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in AntiMoney Laundering (AML) monitoring, and demonstrated proficiency in transaction monitoring systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify suspicious activities.
The Senior Monitoring AML Analyst will strengthen our transaction monitoring framework by analyzing transactional activities to detect, investigate, and report suspicious activities in line with AML and regulatory requirements. They will develop and refine transaction monitoring rules to reduce false positives and increase detection accuracy, leveraging SQL and database management skills to extract relevant data for case analysis and report generation. Additionally, the analyst will escalate complex investigations to the Compliance Officer, ensuring timely escalations and regulatory reporting (e.g., SARs), and collaborate with various teams to support operational efficiency and regulatory adherence while contributing to the company’s growth and expansion.
