Requirements

6 years of professional experience on hard modeling or fabrication
Strong knowledge of model building materials, equipment, and techniques
Knowledge of Powermill CNC software and milling 5 axis (plus)
3D scanner operator experience
Ability to work with a team under tight timing, ever changing design direction, keeping a positive attitude
Strong understanding of quality control standards and practices
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Proficient at creative problem solving
Ability to understand engineering requirements and incorporate them into physical models
High level of understanding the requirements for physical model development and modeling techniques (3 or 5 axes milling, Rapid prototyping, hard/soft modeling)
Ability to work in a dynamic work environment with continuous change and a willingness to learn new skills

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of the fabrication process, from design to delivery
Prepare cost estimates for materials
