Requirements

  • Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of management approaches, including work scheduling, prioritization, coaching, and process execution
  • Proven experience in leading and developing a team
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Advanced knowledge of the field, gained through a combination of education and hands-on experience
  • Ability to prioritize and drive strategic initiatives while effectively allocating resources
  • Desirable: Lean Six Sigma knowledge or certification (Yellow Belt or Green Belt)
  • Desirable: Solid understanding of project management fundamentals

Responsibilities

  • Management and supervisory oversight of four employees, primarily engaged in tactical, operational, and some strategic activities related to sterilization and microbiology
  • Leads, directs, and reviews the work of team members to accomplish operational plans and results, meeting or exceeding performance expectations and defined objectives
  • Supports internal and external inspections, and ensures timely resolution of audit and inspection findings
  • General knowledge of chemical and microbiological analyses to support the team
  • Follows protocols and regulations to clean, store, and/or deliver products, supplies, and instruments
  • Interprets and evaluates analyses for accuracy and precision against established specifications, recommending and implementing corrective actions when necessary
  • Applies existing techniques and procedures, recommending and implementing modifications for improved efficiency, or devising and developing new analytical methods and techniques
  • Prepares reports and necessary documentation (e.g., Corrective and Preventive Actions) and provides them to relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensures Sterility Assurance programs and policies are maintained and regularly updated
  • Lead the Sterility Assurance team, supporting both the Mirandola and Reggiolo sites, ensuring the highest standards of sterility, quality, and regulatory compliance across all operations
