Senior Medical Writer at Abbott

The Senior Medical Writer is responsible and accountable for the execution of presentations, scientific publications, and clinical study report writing for regulatory submission in collaboration with the clinical program director and scientists. They will ensure cross-functional alignment of prioritization for clinical evidence dissemination. This role involves effectively communicating information through planning and executing meetings and presentations, and presenting recommendations to all stakeholders. The writer will ensure internal stakeholders are updated on all activities supporting podium presentations and publications status, as well as clinical study report reviews. They will drive internal and external collaborators to meet submission deadlines for conferences and journal submissions, and drive activities to meet deadlines for internal approvals of clinical study reports for regulatory submissions. The writer will oversee responses to journal reviewers, ensure all data presented is cohesive and aligned with Abbott standards, support publication committee activities for key trials, and play a key role in KOL management through strategic engagement while maintaining a collaborative relationship.
