Requirements

  • 6+ years experience in product management or strategy within consulting, financial services, or payments organizations
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in matrixed global organizations and driving results in cross-functional environments
  • Experience managing external partnerships and vendor relationships
  • Preferred: Experience in launching and scaling financial services and payments solutions
  • Preferred: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into customer-centric solutions
  • Preferred: In-depth understanding of payments ecosystem (e.g., BNPL, digital wallets, open banking, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Strategy Definition: Gather industry insights and cross-functional inputs to support the development of the long-range Memberships & Services strategy, including Financial Services
  • Conduct analyses (e.g., customer research, customer segmentation, market sizing, competitor analysis, avenues for growth, etc.) to inform a multi-year roadmap
  • Scope and prioritize initiatives to meet strategic goals
  • Present business cases, product updates, and recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders
  • New Product Design & Commercialization: Identify, define, and evaluate novel product constructs/services opportunities and delivery options (e.g., internal build vs. partner)
  • Lead the partner selection process via RFPs and vendor/partner evaluations
  • Build robust business cases, including financial modeling, ROI analysis, and risk assessment, to support investment decisions
  • Contribute to contract development with business and legal partners
  • Create and manage go-to-market launch plans, including positioning, messaging, and channel strategy
  • Product Management & Delivery: Build effective working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Product, Tech, Merchandising, Legal, Compliance, etc.) and vendors to support product delivery and BAU operations
  • Represent the FS business in key project management forums
  • Facilitate workshops, draft key documents (e.g., business requirements, standard operating procedures, customer experience flows, etc.), inform product roadmaps, support marketing and associate training plans, etc
  • Communication & Socialization: Prepare executive-level presentations and reports to communicate the Memberships & Services strategy and performance against plan to senior leadership and business partners
  • Business Performance Management: Maintain key reporting dashboards & templates for relevant products / projects
  • Support ad-hoc requests relating to product performance and annual risk assessments
  • Accountable for PnL and is a key decision maker on business performance and conducts monthly tracking
