Requirements

  • Driven, hands-on leader and people manager with strong skills in communication, influencing, and multi-functional team building across time zones
  • Experience managing and growing technical product or program management teams across autonomous vehicle or robotics domains
  • Strong technical skills, including experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or related projects which involve heavily matrixed sophisticated systems
  • Creative problem solver who can handle ambiguous situations, reach consensus, and make decisions
  • Ability to think creatively, propose solutions, and resolve development issues and constraints
  • Execution focus, with experience bringing new and innovative products and technologies into reality
  • 12+ overall years of recent Product or Program Management experience and 5+ years of people management experience
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on leadership of a team coordinating projects, partnering with tech leads to understand and solve complex self-driving challenges
  • Drive and be responsible for delivery of your technology portfolios, in partnership with your engineering leader counterparts
  • Coordinate and collaborate with teams and internal customers to deliver those roadmaps against extremely ambitious timelines and goals: build processes and frameworks to amplify team performance, communicate and resolve bottlenecks, address issues, and measure outcomes
  • Develop a deep technical understanding of the entire stack to proactively identify areas of improvement and investment, influencing technical direction across teams
  • Clearly communicate and represent technical product status and program execution to senior executives and OEM partners
  • Develop a high performing team which can define and deliver against highly ambitious technology product roadmaps
