Bachelor's degree in relevant field
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship for employment visas)
Ability to travel 20% of the time
Preferred Requirements
Advanced degree in engineering, operations management, supply chain management or relevant technical field
8+ years relevant experience
3+ years of people management experience
Experience with strategic sourcing methodologies, tools, and best practices (e.g., market research, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, risk management)

Responsibilities

Develop and execute sourcing strategies on assigned commodities with team of commodity managers; directly manage a few business-critical commodities
Collaborate with cross-functional team members (Global Sourcing team, Engineering, Operations, Business Units, Quality, etc.) in executing strategies
Improve quality, delivery, and cost to meet Strategic Sourcing targets and initiatives
Stay informed about design, product, and market requirements from Business Units and share market and supplier developments
Track and implement action plans with external partners and internal teams to improve Strategic Sourcing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), supporting manufacturing locations regionally and globally
Conduct regular business reviews with strategic and critical suppliers
Source new and potential suppliers to support business requirements
Identify strategic sourcing best practices and drive them into the Rockwell strategic sourcing toolkit and sourcing strategies
Manage Continuous Improvement (CI) special projects with enterprise-wide impact
Develop team to build functional and leadership capabilities
Facilitate information sharing to global commodity team and other internal teams to enhance collaboration and adoption of best practices
Appropriately apply policies and procedures in compliance with government laws (e.g., Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, health, safety, quality, environmental regulations, and functional policies)
