  • Expert understanding of how to deliver value quickly in a fast-paced startup environment, building what's needed now while avoiding unnecessary complexity and laying groundwork for future scale
  • Technical expertise to command respect of senior engineers, with ability to dive deep into system design, architecture, sizing, and trade-offs without needing constant translation

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and grow a high-performing team of front-end, back-end, and full-stack engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Own the end-to-end technical roadmap and delivery for the enterprise platform, partnering closely with engineers to understand progress, remove roadblocks, and ensure efficient execution
  • Take ownership of the engineering project management lifecycle for the team, working with Product Management to define scope and timelines, and responsible for the "how" and "when" of delivery to ensure predictable and high-quality releases
  • Champion cross-functional collaboration, building strong partnerships with Mobile, Data, Product, and Design teams to ensure a cohesive and unified product experience
  • Actively participate in brainstorming and strategic planning with partner teams, challenging assumptions, proposing creative solutions, and guiding the team to the simplest, most effective path to deliver value
  • Take ownership of key engineering processes at Nuna, driving a culture of excellence, best practices, and technical rigor across the entire organization
