Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Fluent written and spoken English and Japanese language
At least 5 years’ experience in a technical leadership role, preferred in an IT vendor similar to Cohesity (i.e. subscription-based software/SaaS)
Experience in the following technical areas required: Storage, Backup, Virtualization, Linux CLI, IT infrastructure, cyber-security
Additional experience highly desirable in: Disaster Recovery/Business Continuance, Database Protection and Recovery, Distributed Systems, Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), Layer 2 Networking and Firewalls, Scripting/Automation, Visio or equivalent application
Excellent communication and project-related skills
Strong verbal communication/presentation skills
Self-starter with excellent organization and time management skills
Strong collaboration skills and experience in leading effective meetings to achieve project goals
The ability to manage projects and to drive to a deadline

Responsibilities

Leading the Technical Sales team in Japan
Working with the Japan Country Manager and the APJ CTO to define and execute on the technical go-to-market plan for Japan
Accountability for the business performance of Cohesity’s solution offerings portfolio in Japan
Ensuring the effective positioning of Cohesity’s solution offerings to our customers in Japan
Leading the technical engagement with Cohesity’s channel partners in Japan
Working as part of the International Technical Sales Leadership team to define and execute the technology engagement lifecycle for the Geography
Assuring the effective delivery of post-sales technical services in Japan
Leveraging Cohesity’s global technical community – including Technical Sales, Engineering and Product Management – to support customer and partner engagement in Japan
Acting as Cohesity’s “CTO” for Japan, with direct, senior-level engagements with customers, partners, analysts and press
