Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians, setting clear goals and ensuring alignment with organizational priorities
Foster collaboration with directors, peers, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of R&D strategies with business objectives
Translate organizational goals into a clear team vision, managing resources and priorities to deliver results
Guide projects from concept through execution, ensuring that solutions are cost-effective, scalable, and aligned with Asurion’s business needs
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of innovative technologies, products, and processes that enhance efficiency, quality, and lifecycle performance
Partner with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to assess opportunities, drive innovation, and ensure feasibility of solutions
Support the introduction of new products, processes, and technologies by ensuring readiness across testing, validation, and deployment activities
Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards across all R&D initiatives
Monitor performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver measurable outcomes
Communicate progress, findings, and recommendations to leadership and global teams, maintaining alignment across functions and geographies
Remain adaptable, taking on evolving priorities and supporting initiatives that contribute to the overall success of Asurion’s engineering and operations teams
