This role, Senior Manager of Marketing Experimentation, will be responsible for owning and operating their advanced experimentation engines and methodologies. The role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and will be the subject matter expert for marketing experimentation across the company. The team focuses on driving critical learnings and solving causal challenges at scale.

Requirements

  • Experimentation Expertise: Deep understanding of A/B/n testing and experimentation methodologies.
  • MDE Experience: Proven ability to run Multi-Dimensional Experiments (MDEs) and pre/post-test analyses.
  • Statistical Knowledge: Strong understanding of statistics, including signal, noise, power, and alternative test designs.
  • Results-Oriented: History of delivering significant gains (100%+) on key performance indicators (KPIs) through experimentation.
  • Data Science Skills: Comfortable with data science principles and applying them to experimentation.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to executives and stakeholders.
  • Prior Experience: Experience running hundreds of randomized controlled experiments, operationalizing learnings, and designing experiments to test data models or technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Own and Operate Experimentation Engines: Manage and maintain Spreetail's advanced experimentation platforms and tools.
  • Develop Experiment Roadmaps: Create and execute a learning roadmap based on hypothesis generation and experimental design.
  • Design and Execute Experiments: Design, implement, and analyze randomized controlled experiments.
  • Analyze Data and Generate Insights: Conduct pre-test and post-test analyses to derive actionable insights.
  • Communicate Results: Clearly communicate experiment results and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Operationalize Learnings: Work to integrate successful experiment findings into company-wide initiatives.
  • Serve as SME: Be the subject matter expert for marketing experimentation across the company.
  • Manage Experimentation Team: Work with a talented team of executives and experts.
