Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field
  • 12+ years of experience in data management, with at least 5 years specializing in Informatica Master Data Services
  • Proven experience leading MDM programs and teams in a complex, enterprise environment
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data integration concepts
  • Hands-on expertise with Informatica MDM, including configuration, data modeling, and workflow management
  • Strong background in Master Data Management Strategy and Leadership
  • Experience with Informatica MDM Implementation & Management
  • Experience with Data Quality & Governance
  • Experience with cloud native services
  • Comfortable working with both structured and unstructured data

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the enterprise MDM strategy, aligning with business objectives and IT roadmap
  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Informatica Master Data Services solutions
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices for master data domains (e.g., customer, product, vendor, employee)
  • Oversee the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Informatica MDM solutions
  • Manage data modeling, data integration, data quality, and workflow processes within Informatica
  • Collaborate with Informatica support and vendor teams to resolve technical issues and optimize platform performance
  • Define and monitor data quality metrics, ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness of master data
  • Implement data stewardship processes and coordinate with business data owners
  • Lead data cleansing, enrichment, and deduplication initiatives
  • Partner with business units, IT teams, and data stewards to understand master data requirements and deliver solutions
  • Facilitate communication and training on MDM processes, policies, and tools
  • Support integration of master data with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, analytics platforms)
  • Lead MDM projects from requirements gathering through delivery and ongoing support
  • Manage and mentor a team of MDM analysts, data stewards, and technical staff
  • Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Ensure master data management practices comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to data privacy, security, and integrity
  • Stay current with industry trends, Informatica product updates, and emerging MDM technologies
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data management capabilities and business value
