Requirements

Strong academic background with significant experience in a Debt Advisory team at a leading consultancy, accountancy or boutique capital advisory firm or a Bank
Extensive experience in Debt Advisory, with a strong focus on capital advisory services and transaction execution
Knowledge of a variety of debt instruments (bonds, loans, senior/junior/mezzanine, secured/unsecured) combined with an understanding of the European debt market is desirable
Highly developed analytical skills with the ability to think strategically & find solutions to complex problems
Well-developed modelling capabilities with extensive experience in financial modelling

Responsibilities

Leading Debt Advisory engagements and work streams from inception to completion, ensuring the successful execution of transactions
Working for clients including Private Equity Funds and German Mittelstand companies, assignments will include structured & acquisition financing, leveraged buy-outs, recapitalization projects (good & bad book), and the creation of financing strategies & credit facilities
Utilising debt products including Acquisition Financing, Recapitalisations, Unitranche funding, bonds, and special situations debt, DCM, private placements, investment grade, leveraged and structured finance, traditional bank financing and debt capital markets (both public and private)
Reviewing term sheets and debt documents, creating and analysing complex financial models and assessing impact on client’s cashflows and strategic ambitions
Conducting comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing insights to clients to inform their decisions
Creating and presenting compelling pitch materials, investment memorandums, and financial models to support client engagements and business development efforts
Guiding junior team members and support to foster their professional development and enhance team performance
