Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required (Master's Degree a plus)
  • 7+ years of financial and/or accounting experience in a consumer products company
  • Proven accounting and SAP experience
  • Heavy Excel and Power BI skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of trade funding for national bottle/can customer programs for BODYARMOR
  • Ensure accurate allocation of trade fund expenses while maintaining compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements
  • Understand, interpret, and administer customer trade promotion agreements
  • Address and resolve issues related to trade promotions
  • Perform contractual funding administration
  • Handle settlement and reconciliation of national bottle/can customer programs on behalf of BODYARMOR Sports Nutrition, ensuring compliance with customer promotion agreement terms and chart of authority
  • Establish and maintain partnerships and routines with internal clients, sales teams, and finance/RGM teams to support customer funding processes, including internal client reporting of actual expenses
  • Influence to achieve desired results, identify risks and opportunities timely, and provide recommendations to mitigate risks and capture opportunities
  • Develop annual service level agreements with key stakeholders and determine process improvement initiatives to achieve and maintain service levels
  • Manage the monthly analysis and reconciliation of BODYARMOR planned promotional events and actuals across multiple systems (e.g., MARS, SAP, trackers), resolve data integrity issues, including customer payments, audits, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Oversee the managed service provider (Genpact) and their performance relative to service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in bottle/can customer funding processes
  • Participate as a subject matter expert in ad hoc projects to automate and improve processes
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration meetings to support implementation and integration of new business, systems, and processes
  • Ensure all financial transactions are recorded and reported in compliance with Company Accounting Policy and GAAP
  • Ensure accounting controls are operating effectively for existing processes
  • Ensure accounting and reporting are completed timely and accurately
  • Lead/participate in ad hoc requests as needed
