Requirements

  • Leadership and expertise in Facilities and Site Operations to support VP and Senior Leadership team in Japan
  • Experience managing operations in GMP environments
  • Ability to develop and execute real estate strategies aligned with business needs
  • Proficiency in project management, including capital projects, Leasehold Improvement, Churn, and Operational Excellence projects
  • Skills in managing third-party suppliers and service providers
  • Knowledge of buildings mechanical, electrical, health, safety, environmental, and security (M&E, EHS & Security)
  • Capability to ensure legal compliance for buildings, plant, equipment, and services across Japan
  • Experience in financial forecasting (3-year) and annual planning
  • Understanding of procurement, outsourcing, SLAs, and KPIs

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and be accountable for Tokyo Depot project
  • Responsible for Depot Site Operations in GMP environment
  • Determine, develop, and execute CEF real estate strategy for material warehouses
  • Supervise Site Manager and Facilities Team to deliver efficient on-site services
  • Provide country leadership, supporting regional business and global F&O team
  • Manage FM teams to support country business needs
  • Collaborate with Space & Master planning and Project Teams on capital projects and workplace initiatives
  • Manage Leasehold Improvement, Churn, and Operational Excellence projects
  • Manage delivery of capital projects, including third-party suppliers
  • Develop annual country plan for site objectives and 3-year financial forecast
  • Develop hard and soft services strategy with appropriate SLAs and KPIs
  • Develop annual procurement program aligned to Facilities Master Plan
  • Strategize and execute optimized outsourcing solutions
  • Provide support and advice on buildings M&E, EHS, security, and Business Continuity Plan
  • Undertake regular technical reviews of M&E, EHS & Security, and Business Continuity Plan
  • Ensure legal compliance for all buildings, plant, equipment, and services across Japan
  • Provide technical advice on new project concepts, design standards, best practices, and risk management
  • Oversee EHS and Security operations for regulatory compliance and safe workplace
  • Create and enforce SOPs and policies to comply with company and local regulations
