Requirements

  • HBO/WO degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or Industrial Pharmacy
  • 10+ years in pharmaceutical or food industry operations; 5+ years in senior leadership roles
  • Strong understanding of GMP, FDA/EU regulations, validation, and quality systems
  • Proven application of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma tools
  • Proficient in Dutch and English; German is a plus
  • Skilled in MS Office, ERP/MES systems, S&OP tools
  • Ability to meet physical requirements including standing, walking, and extended screen time
  • Availability for domestic and international travel (up to 10%), global calls, and after-hours meetings

Responsibilities

  • Ensure coordinated planning, sourcing, and inventory strategies meet production and customer demands
  • Optimize supplier performance, material flow, and warehouse operations
  • Lead S&OP process execution, driving balance across supply, demand, and capacity
  • Coordinate customer service to maintain delivery commitments and service levels
  • Deliver against the weekly and long-term production schedules
  • Ensure GMP-compliant execution of manufacturing processes
  • Manage area performance, yield, quality, and efficiency across all shifts
  • Coordinate operational support functions and training initiatives
  • Maintain GMP, EH&S, SOP/WI compliance across supply chain and manufacturing
  • Ensure documentation, validations, and audits meet internal and regulatory requirements
  • Lead cross-functional CAPA resolution and quality improvements
  • Lead and develop ~10 direct and ~150+ indirect reports
  • Promote a culture of ownership, performance, and continuous improvement
  • Conduct regular team reviews, goal setting, and succession planning
  • Champion cross-departmental collaboration to meet site objectives
