Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in business, engineering, or a related field
  • Relevant professional experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years), and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan
  • Knowledge of major responsibilities and tasks of Audit and Compliance (A&C) function
  • Willingness to travel 20% - 30%
  • Fluent German and business-level English skills, both written and spoken (minimum level B2/C1)
  • Ability to work in the office five days a week

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the development, communication, and implementation of a worldwide sourcing strategy for a Drivetrain components category
  • Identifying performance gaps within the supply base and developing improvement plans for the identified gaps based on the QCLDM expectations
  • Collaborating with the regional Supply Network and global peer procurement teams on risk mitigation and using predictive cost modeling both geographic and component based
  • Identifying, developing, and managing a high-performing global supply network for one or more categories leveraging Procurement Classification Codes (PCC)
