Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 3 years’ experience in business development, market development, product development, or relevant area OR 5 years’ experience in business development, market development, product development, or relevant area
  • Proven experience in direct deal negotiations and content licensing
  • Strong relationships with major studios and content providers
  • Expertise in contract negotiations, including minimum guarantees and license fees
  • Deep understanding of partnership valuation and content windowing
  • Ability to leverage data to drive business decisions and new initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Lead deal generation and negotiation with content partners for FAST, AVOD, and Curated Channels
  • Develop and execute acquisition roadmaps based on content needs
  • Manage contract redlining and collaborate with Legal during negotiations
  • Oversee content selection and sales efforts for AVOD and Curated Channels
  • Analyze performance data to identify best practices and present insights to partners
  • Build strong relationships with VIZIO’s content partners to ensure VIZIO is up to date on all available and new release content
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure Content Acquisitions is well informed on the programming needs of the organization related to programming stunts, marketing initiatives, content gaps, best performers, etc
