Responsibilities

  • Closely lead the full billing process to ensure timely and comprehensive results, monitor billing requests, review monthly unbilled and credit trackers, coordinate team coverage, and ensure adherence to internal processes
  • Successfully implement strategies to meet customer requirements, propose solutions for non-standard requirements, and lead discussions on system limitations
  • Work with other teams to resolve billing-related queries, build strong interdepartmental relationships, and support internal and external communications
  • Drive process improvement and standardization, provide feedback, highlight training needs, communicate process reminders, and lead cross-department meetings
  • Lead recruitment efforts, coordinate onboarding and training for new team members, and provide ongoing support
  • Focus on team development, engagement, and retention through regular mentoring, career development discussions, goal setting, performance reviews, and recognition of achievements
  • Define and measure billing productivity and efficiency, assist in gathering data, and review results monthly
  • Prepare monthly reports to analyze billing trends, results against targets, credit volumes, request errors, and billing timeliness, and provide data for internal and customer audits
  • Deliver clear and timely communication of company or team goals and any changes impacting the team
